Expressive movement unit 2

The tilt of the camera and the introduction of music mark a transition in the staging. The series of explosions has ended. The camera movement follows the characters’ movements (Dane’s in particular), whereby character choreography becomes the dominant level of shot composition. The beginning of dialogue intensifies this transition from the spectacle of explosions to relations between the characters. Although at first this transition appears to slow down the dynamic of the scene (music rather than the previous noise) it accelerates again in the  appearance of the conflict between the characters, a tension on the level of acting.
