The change in framing takes up the force of Hardy’s movements. The contrast of the dialogue that now begins to the previous musical design underlines the impression of a break.

The staging thus changes on the dominant level of sound design as well as on the level of shot composition. Death is now present only in the dialogue; the dead man is no longer within the frame. Instead, Dane’s movement fills the frame and his voice fills the acoustic space. This audiovisual movement continues to expand. The camera movement after the cut to the door of the hut corresponds to the figure’s steps. Their movement thus seems to add dynamic to the previously static shot. This is a reorganization of the audiovisual level. There is a staged transition from emotions (worry, loss and mourning) to a continuation of the plot.
